{13/52} Project 52 – Photo Editing

I had such lofty hopes of getting a number of posts finished and published this week. A Easter recap (it was great!) a coffee date chit-chatty post (coming soon I hope!) and a 6 month update on our baby. But alas all I have for you are some highly edited photos! I have been having fun playing around with some photo editing apps when I am waiting while my bigger project (editing all our home video clips into a movie!) is rendering or loading or whatever else. Enjoy!

(this post is part of the {Project 52} that I am trying to complete in 2016, a photo of each child each week of the year. Click here for the previous installments}

Tessa Araceli.

This little one had her half birthday today! We celebrated by me sleeping in til noon, and daddy giving her whip cream to eat for breakfast. She has just begun rolling over back to front, is on the verge of sitting unassisted, attempts to spoon feed herself some of the wide variety of foods she has tried, and she has loved them all! I think she is starting to notice when she is being left out of the “big kids” (hah) games because she lives for their hugs and kisses and literally smothering attention. We constantly remark that she is the most joyful, smiley and laughter-filled baby we have known. She is a delight and it makes us not even mind carrying around her incredibly hefty weight!

Hugh Joseph.

He is settling well into being our resident 2 year old. Although generally he is quite well behaved during the day and only brings out the “terribles” during the middle of the night. (Tessa sleeps a solid 10-11 hours. the other two: different story) He communicates exquisitely; spot on pronunciation, complex understanding and sentences, and now breaking out the negotiation skills. He has a heart of gold and knows his duty to protect his little sister and will clearly correct anyone who suggests he is anything other than a “Big Boy!”

Clara Grace.

She is a tremendous helper, and has been even more enthusiastic with the introduction of a sticker reward chart on the fridge. She looks out for others, understands sacrifice and generosity, and is growing leaps and bounds in imaginative play and creativity in her art and music. Her favourite game is “mom and dad” she of course being the mom and assigning all other roles and rules and responsibilities because clearly “the mom is the boss of the house”.

About Amy

Wife, mom, daughter, sister, aunt, Godmother, all those good things any many more. Crafter, extrovert, life-long-learner just for the fun of it, when my 4 little (and not so little) babies give me the chance for anything beyond keeping them fed and clean and our lives relatively calm and peaceful.
